Who We Are
The name Uzov Taazov (עזוב תעזוב) is drawn from the Torah — a commandment to actively help those in need, regardless of who they are. It is not merely a suggestion; it is an obligation woven into the fabric of Jewish life and values. Like the legendary Reb Meir Baal HaNes, whose name became synonymous with answering a cry for help, we believe that when someone calls out, we must respond.
Our organization is rooted in the timeless Jewish values of tzedakah (צדקה) and chesed (חסד). Whether someone needs a gemach, emergency financial assistance, a listening ear, or simply to know that someone cares — we are here. We serve families, individuals, and communities across every background and affiliation, because the obligation of tzedakah knows no boundaries.
We do our work quietly, with integrity, and with deep respect for the dignity of every person who comes through our doors. No means test, no judgment, no red tape. Our goal is simple: to be there when it matters most.
